Sure, we all know about Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and the 4th of July, but what about the fun, quirky, lesser-known holidays that deserve their moment to shine? At Rainbow Skateland, we believe there’s never a wrong time to lace up your skates, especially if it means turning an ordinary day into an unforgettable celebration.
So grab your calendar and your favorite pair of socks, here are a few underrated holidays just begging to be celebrated on wheels.
National Glitter Day – Early January
Okay, this one’s unofficial, but we’re making it a thing. Grab your sparkliest gear, glitter tights, shiny tops, or even a little sparkle in your hair, and roll into the new year in true disco style. Bonus points for attending a themed skate night!
National Pizza Day – February 9
Roll, skate, slice, repeat. Celebrate this glorious day the only way we know how, with skating followed by a stop at our snack bar. Trust us, few things are better than pizza after skating laps with your crew.
National Best Friend Day – June 8
Is there a better way to celebrate your ride-or-die than with matching skates and your favorite throwback playlist? We think not. Plan a BFF skate night with coordinating outfits, fun photos, and maybe even a little friendly race around the rink.
National Dance Day – September 21
Dancing on skates? Yes, please. Whether you’re a beginner or a rhythm skating regular, this is the perfect excuse to glide to the beat. Grab a friend and choreograph a routine or just freestyle it to your favorite tunes.
Celebrate any day!
The truth is, any day is a good day to celebrate with a little roller skating.
Whether it’s a random Tuesday or your dog’s half birthday (hey, we don’t judge), we’re here for it. Check out our skating schedule to find the perfect time to roll through.
Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook to stay in the loop on themed nights, special events, and even more ideas for turning everyday moments into skate-worthy memories.
Because at Rainbow Skateland, we believe life’s too short to wait for a major holiday.
So go ahead, celebrate the little things… on wheels.
